Our fleet of six e-cargo bikes and trikes can deliver a huge range of goods and the capacity of the largest, Bertha, is 900 litres / 100kg.
We have access to a variety of bikes for specialist jobs.
We use a full-fledged online delivery platform to manage our deliveries flexibly and efficiently and we are insured for up to £10,000 for our ‘goods in transit’.
From beer, cheese and groceries to Christmas trees and medical samples for NHS hospitals; you can be sure your products will be delivered safely with us.
Despite our name we work beyond the boundaries of Chorlton and we are able to deliver daytime and evening, seven days a week.
Our rates are based on the distance and number of deliveries you require, and our unwavering commitment to paying all commercial riders the living wage.
Senior Operations Manager at Feedr
Cargo bikes are perfect for fast urban deliveries which is important since we’re keeping city office workers well fed! We love that, by working with Chorlton Bike Deliveries - our operation is now emission free and actively helping to take cars off the road, whilst having more personal interactions with the end customer. “We’ve been so impressed by the reliability and flexibility of the CBD service and would urge other organisations – both in the food sector and beyond – to consider implementing this planet friendly and ethical bike delivery service!

Ever since we switched to using CBD to fulfil our sample deliveries, the service we’ve received has been excellent. I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the consistency and quality of what CBD do and compared to other courier options we’ve used in the past, it’s a no brainer. “We initially came to CBD to reduce the impact of our deliveries on the planet, but we’ve received a first-rate, reliable service that’s also making an impact to health more widely by its active nature and improving air quality on our roads. We’re looking to explore further opportunities with them and would definitely recommend to any other public sectors or businesses that are wanting to make a positive change.
Unicorn Grocery
Our relationship with CBD started when we had lots of high risk customers who were shielding during the pandemic and weren’t able to get to the shop anymore. This has evolved into a successful ongoing shop and drop delivery service for folk who, for whatever reason, are struggling to shop here in person. Riders come and do the shopping for them, then drop it straight to the doorstep. “There is something quite joyous about seeing the cargo bikes getting loaded up with fresh fruit, vegetables and other produce and sending it off to people’s homes. We don't have the capacity to do delivery ourselves, so this has been an incredibly positive thing to come out of a tricky situation and has built great resilience into the local community and beyond.
